new year oddities

i drew this on white paper, that was lying flat on a tv tray while i was sitting down on a sofa (w/ my feet up [opposed to someone else's feet up]) watching television (mostly with my ears). my kids don't clean up after themselves very well (neither do i, according to the other parent who just happens to reside in the exact same living quarters as both myself and the kidlings); there were tons of felt markers scattered around the (carpeted) wreck-room floor, (you guessed it) in the basement. the actual size of this drawing is 5-1/2" x 8-1/2"; highlights were added with one of those stubby blue pentel brand fine point correction pens (multi-purpose / quick dry). thanks for stopping by my blog and looking at my strange but true artwork and reading my extremely exciting life stories. *sigh* have a nice day.

not conscious enough
out of need
it's a master design
a marketing marvel
they get you where it counts
thin air produces money
which is anything but funny
as keeping up with the joneses mounts!
