This is based on a character design I had developed back in March of 2001. I was an in-house product designer for Palliser Furniture Ltd./EQ3 (Nov. 2000 - March 2006). Needless to say I got tons of inspiration from all sorts of furniture; my sketchbooks are full of these creatures! ;) There's another series of characters but they are actually monsters sitting on average looking sofas and chairs. The plan is to submit these suckers for publication and eventually blow 'em up into large acrylic/watercolour paintings.
